2012 Yamaha Super Tenere The Yamaha Super Tenere is a Dual Sport style motorcycle with an MSRP of $13,900 and is all New for 2012. Power is provided by a 4-Stroke, 1199cc, Liquid cooled, OHV – Pushrod, V Twin engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with a 6-Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 6.0 gallons. The Super Tenere rides on Aluminum wheels with a 110/80-19 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescopic Fork while the rear suspension is a Monoshock Swing Arm. Front Dual Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide for the stopping power.
