I have a 2005 v-star 1100 with cobra pipes and have had the carbs rejetted by the dealer and run on dyno , is there a way to cut down on the popping exhaust ?

After all the fees, you should be able to drive out of the showroom for about 6000. (List price + freight fees + TTL). You should easily find a used one at less than 3000, but you don't get the 2 year warranty.
