2011 BMW R 1200 GS The BMW R 1200 GS is a On-Off Road style motorcycle with an MSRP of 14990 and is a Carryover for 2011. Power is provided by a 4-Stroke, 1170cc, Air / Oil cooled, DOHC, Flat Twin engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with a 6-Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 5.3 gallons. The R 1200 GS rides on Aluminum wheels with a 110/80 HR19 front tire and a 150/70 HR17 rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescopic Fork while the rear suspension is a Single Sided Swing Arm. Front Dual Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide for the stopping power.     No telescopic fork on this guy:
    BMW Motorrad Telelever; stanchion diameter 41 mm, central spring strut, spring preload with 5-position mechanical adjustment.
