The BMW R 1200 GS Adventure is an On-Off Road style motorcycle with an MSRP that is still to be determined and is Upgraded for 2010. Power is provided by a 4-Stroke, 1170cc, Air / Oil cooled, DOHC, Flat Twin engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with a 6-Speed Manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 8.7 gallons. The R 1200 GS Adventure rides on Aluminum wheels with a 110/80 HR19 front tire and a 150/70 HR17 rear tire. The front suspension is a Telescopic Fork while the rear suspension is a Single Sided Swing Arm. Front Dual Hydraulic Disc brakes and rear Hydraulic Disc brakes provide for the stopping power. The R 1200 GS Adventure comes standard with Two-Piece, 2-passenger seating.
